Mardi Gras History: The idea of the Krewe of Phoenix has been churning in my brain for a few years now. Along with my best friend, Paula Curtis, we decided to get this train rolling and Tonya Wages joined us as Captain along with all the other officers.
Years celebrating MG: Since I was 18 and in college at USM. Yes they made me show my boobs! Oh the horror.

Mardi Gras History:
I joined LBF, and loved it so much that I then went on to join Athena, Les belle Femme, and Sirens. I’ve been maid of LBF and Athena. Captain for Sirens, and now Captain for Phoenix. I’m dedicated to watching it grow and be a success Krewe, as with all Krewes. I believe in sisterhood, and that also means sisterhood between each krewes. I love supporting all women and each Krewe. I go to every ball that I can each year and I love how each krewe have their own style and looking to see what each one creates each year.

Mardi Gras History: I have been involved in Mardi Gras all my life with my parents. I joined Les Belle Fleurs back in '04/05 for two years, moved away and came back in 2022. Now with Krewe of Phoenix to help grow a marching Krewe.
